#6 Lady Vols Notch 20th Win, 64-56, At UF

GAINESVILLE, Fla.-- #6 Tennessee stayed perfect in the SEC, posting a 64-56 win at Floridaon Sundayafternoon. The Lady Vols stand at 10-0 in league play and are tied with #1 South Carolina atop the standings. Overall, Tennessee is now 20-3, as the Lady Vols have won 20 or more games in a season for the 39th consecutive campaign, dating to 1976-77.

Tennessee has also won a league-best 17 consecutive games against conference foes dating to last season.

Senior Isabelle Harrison led Tennessee with 17 points. Jordan Reynolds scored 10 of her 13 points in the second half. Freshman Jaime Nared tallied 10 points, her most against an SEC opponent in her initial season.

Cierra Burdick had double-figure rebounds for the sixth time this season with a game-best 14 boards. She added eight points.

Florida fell below .500 at 11-12 overall and is 3-7 in the SEC. Cassie Peoples tallied 18 points while Ronni Williams had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Down by five points with 14 minutes left in the game at 36-31, Tennessee ripped off 11 consecutive points to take a 42-36 lead on a pair of Burdick free throws with11:36left in the game. Tennessee led for the rest of the way.

The Lady Vols outscored Florida 33-20 over the final 14 minutes. Tennessee is now 5-3 when trailing at halftime.

Tennessee took the largest lead of the game, 61-49, on a Harrison layup with two minutes left.

Tennessee's defense limited Florida to 34.4 from the floor including 32.3 in the second half.

Florida held a 30-28 lead at halftime, scoring the final four points of the half.

Harrison and Nared bookended the first half with individual scoring runs. Harrison scored Tennessee's first 11 points of the game, as the Last Vols took an 11-4 lead. Nared closed the stanza with UT's final eight points.
