  • Monday, March 23, 2015

The Georgia Rampage, Dalton's professional arena football team, just concluded its player camp. The team brought in 36 players and had to trim the roster to 25 players. From the roster, the Rampage can dress 19 players per game.

The Rampage are getting ready for their first challenge and it will be a tough one. The Rampage will head to Rio Grande Valley, Tex., on Friday night to prepare to play the Rio Grande Valley Sol on Sunday night. The game will be broadcast live and the Rampage will post the link of the game on their Facebook page and team website, GARampage.com.

The Sol are coming off a pre-season victory where they ran over the Corpus Christi Fury 103-2. That was the second pre-season game for the Sol and they have won both. The Rampage will go into this game with no game action, but had a very productive camp and feel positive about their condition.

Rampage General Manager Kacee Smith said, "It will certainly be a challenge. I think this team is loaded in talent. Our first three games will be brutal.

After the 2,219-mile trip, the Rampage return to the Northwest Georgia Trade Center to take on the Alabama Outlawz on April 4 at 7 p.m.

The Rampage will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on the turf at halftime that is sponsored by the Sanctuary Church. For tickets visit GARampage.com.
