Korean War Veteran Worked For TVA For 32 Years

Charles Hoyt Griffin, 81, of Hixson, died on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in a local hospital.

Mr. Griffin was retired from TVA with 32 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Lavern Griffin; son, Chuck (Jill) Griffin, Knoxville; three daughters, Linda (Rodney) Tabor, Knoxville; Karen (Andy) Cox, Susan (Todd) Hodge, both of Soddy Daisy; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
