Dakota Sampson, 21, of Dalton, GA, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shane Sampson; aunt, Barbara Hewitt; and grandfather, Jerry Elmore.
Dakota was a loving father, brother, son and was a big hearted friend to all and was forever fearless and enjoyed life itself.
He is survived by his son, Oakley Shane Sampson; fiancé, Randi Brown; mother, Carrie Elmore; step-mother, Amy Sampson; brother, Kevin Smalley; sister, Madi Sampson; grandparents, Danny Sampson, Sandi Gilbert, David Headrick and Linda Elmore; aunt, Lee Price; and uncle, Bill Price all of Dalton; step-brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Sara Curtis of Chatsworth; step-father, Denny Curtis; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 2 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Tyler Gilreath officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2 from 12-3 p.m.
