Pedestrian, Michael Bonner, 54, Struck And Seriously Injured On East Brainerd Road Tuesday Night

A pedestrian, Michael Bonner, 54, was struck and seriously injured Tuesday night on East Brainerd Road.

 

At approximately 9:02 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 7026 E.

Brainerd Road for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

 

Mr. Bonner was struck by a motorist and transported by HCEMS to a local hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition. 

The motorist involved did stop and is cooperating fully with investigators.

 

The section of E. Brainerd Rd in front of the Subway near N. Concord Rd and E. Brainerd Road was shut down while investigators processed the scene.

 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone that may have witnessed this incident to call 423 698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
