Douglas Eugene Beuoy, 50, of Chattanooga, died after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, June 28, 2015 surrounded by family.

He attended UTC and was a graduate of McCallie School where he excelled in wrestling and football. He also attended Senter and Bright schools.  His love of sports led him to coach football and wrestling among other sports.  Doug was also an avid golfer, and a member of Grace Works Church. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Esther Beuoy, Alfred Eugene and Louise Furnish.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Dixon Beuoy, mother, Marjorie Furnish, brothers, Daniel (Shannon) and David (Christy), nephews, Drewry, Zane, and nieces, Brittney, Mary Elizabeth and Rachel.

The family will receive friends at GraceWorks Church on Thursday, July 2, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4-5:45 p.m.,followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to GraceWorks Church, 6445 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
