2016 Dash For DS Celebrates World Down Syndrome Awareness Day

For the third year, the Chattanooga Down Syndrome Society is hosting a day of awareness, advocacy, and celebration in honor of World Down Syndrome Awareness Day on Saturday, March 19, 9 a.m. at the Tennessee River Park, Shelter Four, near the Fry Center.

The 5K, Family Fun Run, and Kiddie-K will include people of all abilities, their loved ones, and supporters.

"Runners will be greeted along the course with the smiling faces of the individuals the Chattanooga Down Syndrome Society serves with educational and recreational grants, networking events, and workshops throughout the year," organizers said.
