The District 5-AAA softball coaches recently met and selected their 2016 All District Team. The squad was announced during play of the district tournament.
Those named were:
Bradley Central: Arrianna Kimpson
Cleveland: Emily Colbaugh
East Hamilton: Tori Barnes
McMinn County: Callie King and Abby Swilley
Ooltewah: Kayla Boseman, Aubbie Collake, Tiera Lemon and Shelby Sutton
Soddy Daisy: Grayson Brown, Cameron Swafford and Alexis Trimiar
Walker Valley: Emilee Spann
The district tournament concludes Wednesday evening with Soddy Daisy and Ooltewah facing off in the championship game. Game time is 6 p.m. at Ooltewah's Jim Lovell Field.
