Aisha Hood
Aisha Hood, 23, was found dead in her apartment at 737 West Main Street Monday afternoon.
Chattanooga Police had been called to the apartment on a report of a medical emergency. Ms. Hood's body showed evidence of trauma and officers have opened a homicide investigation.
The Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The family has been notified.
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
