Robert "Bob" Wilkinson, 77, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016.
He was a member of Praise & Worship Family Outreach and was self-employed in construction.
He was preceded in death by two sons, William Wilkinson and Robert David Wilkinson; parents, Robert Henry and Rada Rebecca Samples; sister, Emily Hardin; brothers, Jack Samples, Joe Samples and Paul Hahn; son-in-law, Randy Brown; and grandson, Robert David Berry
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alice Hodges Wilkinson; children, Jeannie Brown, Rocky (Donna) Wilkinson, Alicia (David) Berry, ,Bobbie Jo Wilkinson, Richard (Melody) Wilkinson and Marty Wilkinson; brother, Charles “Chuck” Samples; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. CST, Saturday, July 9, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor DC Crespo and Reverends Joseph Lee Hodges and David Berry officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 12-4 p.m. CST, Saturday, July 9 at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
