Bettye Parks
Bettye W. Parks, 81, of East Ridge, died on Sunday, August 21, 2016 in a Hospice Care Center.
Ms. Parks was a loving and supportive Mom and Nana who always put her family first.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Thomas.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Ms. Parks was the owner of several rental properties in East Ridge.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Bennett of East Ridge and her husband, Tony; Lara Pruitt of East Ridge and her husband, Roger; and three grandchildren, Johnathan Swords, Elisabeth Bennett, and Samantha Bennett, all of East Ridge.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel with Pastor Gary Moore officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at the East Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bettye’s name to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
