Lakesite has a new mayor and vice mayor after the Lakesite City Commission re-organized on Tuesday night.
David Howell was elected mayor and Valerie Boddy was chosen vice mayor.
The previous mayor was Ken Wilkerson, who had served the city of Lakesite for six years as mayor.
The vice mayor was John McPherson, who was not re-elected in November, after serving Lakesite for 22 years.
