Nick Willis
Nick Willis, age 64, of Whitwell, a loving father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept 27, 2017.
He retired from Tennessee Valley Authority at Raccoon Mountain and was a member of Local Union 43 Pipe Fitters.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Everette and Ann Willis; mother of his children, Joyce Willis; and brothers, Jim D. Willis, Dick Willis, Thomas Willis.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Lisa Willis of Whitwell, Jonathan (Katie) Willis of Jasper; sisters, Peggy (Tommy) Thompson, Joann (Darrell) Barnes of Whitwell; grandchildren, Brandi Delgado, Blake Shadrick, Sadie Willis; several close nieces, nephews and many friends.
Family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1. A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1, in the funeral home chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, at Sardis Cemetery in Whitwell.
