The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team wrapped up play at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional in Murfreesboro, Tenn., on Saturday. The Mocs posted a win in singles and doubles in today's play.
Junior Caroline Hall scored the singles win in consolation action. She defeated UT Martin's Asel Jumamukhambetova 6-4, 6-1.
Hall and freshman Bogdana Zaporozhets teamed up in doubles with an 8-3 win against Miami's (OH) Devi and Babunski.
Sophomore Annie Tarwater also won in doubles as a part of a mixed team.
She paired with Purdue's Zala Dovnik for an 8-4 win over Lipscomb's Tshatedi and Buberli.
"We had a great ITA Regional," stated head coach Chad Camper. "Caroline finished strong with wins in doubles and singles. Our team is coming together. We look forward to some rest and gearing up for our last tournament at GA State."
The Mocs have next week off before returning to action at Georgia State on Oct. 27-29.
