A bright sunny day with hundreds of school kids on hand to watch a matinee professional baseball game at AT&T Field between the Chattanooga Lookouts and the Birmingham Barons.
The home team gave the fans a lot to cheer about cruising along with a 6-2 lead entering the seventh inning. The Lookouts were aiming for their 10th straight win at home. Birmingham was struggling to shake off four straight losses to Chattanooga.
In the seventh inning, Hunter Jones came off the bench for the Barons and hit a grand slam home run to tie the game.
Two hitters later, teammate Jake Peter hit a two-run blast. The Lookouts could not mount a rally and lost the game, 8-6
