Drennon, Donney Lamar (Cleveland)

Donney Lamar Drennon, 85, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017.

He was the son of the late Everett and Beatrice Drennon and was preceded in death by three siblings, William (Bill) Drennon, Harold Drennon, and Shirley Flippo.

Donney was born on Jan. 11, 1932, in Lupton City, Tn. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel L. Drennon; his sister, Judy Hackney of Pineville, NC; his two sons, Dr. Donney (Katy) T. Drennon-Gala and David L. Drennon; two daughters, Brenda (Arthur) Suter and Deborah M. (William) Clark; two grandchildren, Mark Drennon and Ashley E. Suter; two great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
