Chattnooga Heat Offers Youth Baseball Clinic In March

  • Monday, January 22, 2018

The Chattanooga Heat, a local adult team who plays in the United States Veterans Baseball League, will be hosting a youth baseball camp March 24 and 25. All players between the ages of 7–15 will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills. This camp will provide training and instruction in all aspects of the game of baseball.

There will be players who have performed at all levels (high school, college and pro) that will be helping participants improve their skills in baseball.

Heat manager and organizer of this event, Brandon Davis, said, “This is a great opportunity for  players of all skill levels to become better baseball players. The competition is fierce for players looking to secure a scholarship or get selected in the pro draft, so building a strong foundation at the youth level is more important than ever.”

Instruction will be provided at the following stations: hitting, fielding, pitching (optional), catching (optional), base running, and baseball smarts and strategies.

The two day event will be held at the Heat Youth Camp at 8011 Batters Place Road.

Registration is $50 for the two day event.  For more information contact Mr. Davis at chattanoogaheatbb@gmail.com or 785-6044.
