James Carson
James “Jimmy” Carson, 81 a resident of McDonald, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was the son of the late Walter and Pearl Carson and was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Carson, his brother, Jack Carson and several cousins and friends.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of McDonald and was well known for trading pocket knives and watches. He would walk around the McDonald community stopping anyone that would asking if they wanted to trade or buy watches and knives.
He is survived by numerous cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Reverend Tim Woody officiating.
The interment will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in McDonald with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
