East Brainerd For Joda Thongnopnua

Joda Thongnopnua has my vote for District 30 State House of Representatives. I have supported both Republicans and Democrats in the past and I’m very happy that someone of Joda’s caliber is running for this open seat. I have worked alongside Joda professionally and I’ve seen firsthand his work ethic and his great ability to work with others to come up with the best solution.

I am particularly impressed with Joda’s rigorous study of every issue before him. Even when we’ve disagreed on issues, both professionally and politically, I’ve seen the way that Joda listens to the other side of an issue and looks at issues from both perspectives. He is always open to respectful dialogue, particularly with folks who would typically be seen as “opponents.” This was very evident when he and Jonathan Mason shared the stage at East Hamilton High School during the primary, where I think supporters of both candidates gained a strong level of respect for each other. I think that type of across-the-aisle conversation would be good at all levels of government.

If you’re like me and choose the person over political affiliation and would like to see someone who puts the community first, I hope you’ll join me in choosing a thoughtful leader that will work his tail off for everyone in our district- Joda Thongnopnua.
