Tennessee Wesleyan Women’s Soccer Wins 3rd Straight AAC Championship

Tennessee Wesleyan Lady Bulldogs won the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) with a 5-1 win at home over Milligan College. With the win, TWU captures its third straight conference championship and will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament, where they advanced to the “Elite Eight” last year. 

 

Hannah Dearing (Chattanooga, TN) scored the first goal at the 10 minute mark, followed by Dayna Randall (Chesterfield, England) at the 30 minute mark.

Milligan closed the gap early in the second half making it 2-1, however, Randall scored again, followed by 2 goals by Chloe Rootes (Kempsey, Australia) to close the game at 5-1. 

 

Hannah Dearing, Dayna Randall, Samantha Green (Hixson, TN), and Livia Walker (McMinnville, TN) were all named to the All-Tournament Team.
