Ober Gatlinburg To Open Ski And Snowboard Slopes

The weather has finally turned in the favor of Tennessee skiers and snowboarders at Ober Gatlinburg.

Snowmakers have been hard at work capitalizing on all recent freezing temperatures, including the tail end of the current weather system. 

Focusing on Cub Way, Castle Run, and Ski School, snowmakers will have the slopes ready for skiers and snowboarders by noon on Tuesday.  Slopes will be open from 12-10 p.m.

every day through Dec. 20, except for Sunday, Dec. 16, when the slopes will be open from noon – 7 p.m. Ski area lift tickets are available for $36 full day, $29 twilight, $20 night, every day through Dec. 20.  Holiday Slope hours and rates resume on Friday, Dec. 21-Jan. 1, 2019.

The Snow Tubing Park, Cubbies Snow Zone, Ice Skating, Ice Bumper Cars (not available during holiday periods), The Shops at Ober, The Seasons of Ober Restaurant and the Loft Lounge will also be available to guests of Ober Gatlinburg.
