Juanita Jeanne Houstrup, 88, of Signal Mountain, died on Monday, April 23, 2018.
She was in Lafayette, In., to the late Kenneth and Vivian Forbes. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Peter Houstrup.
Mrs. Houstrup was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a member of Signal Mountain United Methodist Church and a founding member of Signal Crest United Methodist Church. Mrs. Houstrup was a member of Signal Mountain Garden Club and Walden’s Ridge Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Jody (Teresa) Houstrup and Judy (Bill) Kroulek; grandchildren, Orion (Jessica) Kroulek, Sean (Alison) Kroulek, Rhianna (William) Westbrook, and Patricia Houstrup; great-grandchildren, Caelyn, Duncan, Ada, and William.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
