Wanda Faye Sluder, 89, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in a local health care facility.
In earlier years she worked at the Holiday Inn on Keith Street and then worked at Bradley Memorial Hospital for over 10 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bryson Sluder; parents, John Harvey Wilson and Myrtle Bell Davis Wilson; daughter, Juanita Woods; son Ronnie Wayne Sluder; granddaughter, Marissa Sluder; grandson, Scott Edward Sluder; and eight siblings.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, James (Mary Lou) Sluder of Cleveland, and Deborah (Ed) Stewart of Greeneville, Tn., and son-in-law, Ernie Woods; grandchildren, Leslie (Jon) Smith, Elizabeth (Steven) Craig, and William Ernest (Carla) Woods; great-grandchildren, Christian Smith, Hunter Prince, Jordan Woods, Bradley Woods, Zaine Smith, and Maddie Craig; and great-great-grandchildren, Addison Smith and Averie Smith.
The service will be conducted on Saturday, May 26, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Garden with Christian Smith, Jon Smith, Zaine Smith, Steven Craig, Hunter Prince, and William Woods serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
