A Soddy Daisy man is facing a child molestation charge.
Jerry Alfred, 67, was charged with incest and child molestation.
Soddy Daisy Police said they "responded last Wednesday after they received a complaint of an adult male allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a juvenile. An investigation was conducted that led to the arrest."
Alfred is currently being held at the Hamilton County Jail under $170,000 bond.
The Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office and the Soddy Daisy Police Department are continuing to investigate in which additional charges may be filed at a later date, it was stated.
