Chip Baker Is The Right Pick For District 2

  • Thursday, July 19, 2018

I choose Chip Baker to be my representative for District 2 on the Hamilton County Commission. I choose Chip Baker because he is a strong supporter of public education. Build it and they will come. Signal Mountain residents had been dreaming of a high school for 50 years. Chip Baker played a pivotal role in bringing all the necessary parties together to make it happen. His 12 years of experience working hard for District 2 as our school board representative has also given him the inside tract on how best to work with the current HCDE school board in accomplishing goals that continue to support improving and funding education in Hamilton County.

I choose Chip Baker because he has a proven track record of success.  With 19 years as the director of Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival, he brings the leadership skills necessary for continued economic growth in Chattanooga. Chip and his team manage multiple moving parts to bring in over 650,000 people to our city over nine days every year. This proves he has a long standing commitment to Chattanooga’s success.

I choose Chip Baker because he is always willing to listen to his constituents.  Chip’s unique way of addressing problems engages the community as a whole and allows everyone a seat at the table, while working to find the best possible solution.

I choose Chip Baker because he is the best qualified candidate. With 26 years of connections, both in and outside of Chattanooga, we need his voice.  I hope you will join me in choosing Chip Baker as our next Hamilton County Commissioner for District 2.
