The Baylor volleyball team improved to 4-3 on the season Monday night following a 3-0 win at Chattanooga Christian.

Ally Craig had a dozen kills while Elaine Redman had 34 assists and seven digs for the winning Lady Red Raiders.  Denver Rogers, Hayden Barton and Laura Kate May all had two aces.

A.J. Johnson had five kills and six digs for the Lady Chargers while Rachel Kay had 11 assists.

  Summer Jones added 18 digs.

CCS is now 7-2 following Monday's match.

Marilyn Lloyd, who represented the Third District in Congress for 10 terms, has died at the age of 89. Ms. Lloyd got into politics after her husband, TV anchor Mort Lloyd, was killed in a plane crash in 1974. Mort Lloyd had won the Democratic primary to oppose Rep. Lamar Baker. A Soddy Daisy couple reported a theft at their residence netted thieves over $56,000 in items.
