She was a member of Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church in Chickamauga.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to all her family.

June is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wirt W. Garmany, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Wirt W. (Evelyn) Garmany, III, of Chickamauga; grandson, Reverend Hutchinson D. (Ashleigh) Garmany, of Trenton; five great-grandchildren, Hutchinson, Winters, Grey, Robert “Bo” and Marie “Mae” Garmany; brother, Reynolds (Mildred) Crowder, of Chickamauga; three step-grandchildren; and three nieces and three nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24 at Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church, with Reverend Joseph V. Novenson presiding. Burial will follow in Garmany Cemetery.
