Chattanooga FC Kicks Off Busy Weekend Against AFC Mobile

  • Thursday, April 25, 2019

The boys in blue prepare for another jam packed weekend as Chattanooga welcomes AFC Mobile to Finley Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The club from south Alabama has set attendance records every year of its existence, and will bring their best to Chattanooga this Saturday.

"I am excited for us to have an opportunity to get a match against a top team from a higher division in preseason,” said Steve Wieczorek, AFC Mobile Manager.

“The friendly will certainly help us build our fitness levels and develop our style of play.”

The match will also serve as yet another example of Chattanooga’s Football Club giving back to the community in a tangible way. In coordination with National Parks Week and thanks to a partnership with National Park Partners, Chattanooga FC will donate a portion of ticket sales to the NPP, which serves to preserve and protect our own national park.

“This is a great opportunity to raise awareness about the great work National Park Partners is doing in our area,” said Sheldon Grizzle president of Chattanooga FC. “We support their hard work in preserving some of our community’s most beautiful assets for generations to come.”

There will be a number of events to support this collaboration, including a “pint night” at Chattanooga Brewing Company Thursday night; Chattanooga FC and National Park Partners items and experiences up for auction; National Park awareness videos; and more.

Tickets for Saturday’s match are on sale now at ChattanoogaFC.com for $10 until Saturday, when the price increases to $12. As always, the match is included with any season ticket package. To help contribute to the National Park Partners, enter the code NPPCFC19 at checkout.
