Elizabeth Rose Davis, 76, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1947, in Cohutta, Ga., a daughter of the late Robert and Rose Whitten McAteer. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Davis, great grandchild Jackson Bruce.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Gene Redwine of Dalton, Anitra and Bo Carnes of Sugar Valley, Ga., Jill Davis of Dalton; grandchildren, Tony and Nikki Redwine of Resaca, Ga., Drew and Andrea Holland of Calhoun, Ga., Haley Blake of Acworth, Ga., Hunter Bruce of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Kyndall, Scarlett, Colton, Case, Camden, Oakley.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Elizabeth Rose Davis will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Drew Holland, Tony Redwine, Gene Redwine, Colton Redwine, Bo Carnes Scott Carnes, Zack Carnes and Jason Daniels serving as pallbearers.
