Betty Anne Jones, 71, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Erlanger Medical Center.
She was born on July 31, 1952, in Chicago, Il., a daughter of the late Wilbur Clinton and Edith Marie Bates.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Jones, brother, Ronnie Bates.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Matthew Brooks of Rocky Face, Ga.; stepdaughter, Lisa Rose of Ohio; grandchildren, Alisha Hicks, Elijah Hicks of Dalton; great-grandchild, Delilah Hicks; other family and friends.
Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Anne Jones will be held on Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Jessie Ellis officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Elijah Hicks, John Bourss, Jerry Carroll, and Bobby Stephens serving as pallbearers.
