Cleveland State Completes Its 3rd STEM Camp

STEM Camp teaches middle school students about the importance of science, technology, engineering, math, teamwork and communication skills. 

The camp featured Lego Education NXT robot sets that the students were able to build with their final task being to use all of their skills learned throughout the week to program the robots to perform various tasks in ‘Green City.’


Chattanooga State Baseball Team To Hold Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

The Chattanooga State Baseball team will host its Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, January 31, from 8-10 a.m. at Applebee’s Restaurant located at 5606 Brainerd Road. Cost is $5 per person. Deonta Banks, 23, Shot On Wilcox Boulevard Early Sunday Morning

Deonta Banks, 23, was shot early Sunday morning on Wilcox Boulevard. At approximately  3 a.m.  the Chattanooga Police Department responded to shots fired at 3232 Wilcox Boulevard.  Upon arrival, Chattanooga police located a single victim, Deonta Banks, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Man Stabbed In Domestic Dispute On Sunrise Lane Saturday Morning

A man was stabbed Saturday morning on Sunrise Lane.   At approximately  11:41  a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 309 Sunrise Lane.  Officers located a 45-year-old black male suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound.
