Baylor Soccer Wins 3-2 At No. 3 Huntsville

The Baylor soccer team traveled to Huntsville, Alabama, to take on the #3 team in the state Huntsville High School.

 Baylor scored the first two goals but Huntsville answered to tie the game at the half, 2-2. 


At the 23rd minute, Lucas Baker scored off an assist from Hunter Tyler.

At the 25th minute, Rafael Gaglianoe serviced a free kick into the box and the Huntsville  goalkeeper was called for a foul on Christian Wright to earn a penalty kick. Austin Maize took the PK and put Baylor up 2-0.

At the 28th minutes, Daniel Buchanan (Huntsville) scored off an assist from Scott Waugh.

At the 40th minute, Huntsville earned a penalty kick and Bailey Oliver (Huntsville) scored.

At the 73rd minute, Austin Rehm took a free kick and put it on the head of Rafael Gaglianonie.

Rafael headed it down for Robert Stagmaier to finish it.

State Volleyball Begins Wednesday In Murfreesboro

The ever-exciting state volleyball tournament will begin Wednesday morning in Murfreesboro with action scheduled for four different schools. The Boyd-Buchanan Lady Bucs are Chattanooga's entry in the Class A bracket while Red Bank and Signal Mountain will be competing in Class AA.  Baylor is entered in D-II Class AA. Westfield Charged In Burning, Torture Of Kitten At Cleveland

An arrest has been made in the case of a kitten who was burned and tortured in Cleveland, Tn. At 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Gary A. Westfield, 31, of Cleveland, was placed in custody on a warrant obtained by Lt. Robert Harbison and Detective Matt Jenkins of the Criminal Investigations Division.
