Men Host Georgia Revolution Saturday

The Chattanooga FC men's soccer team traveled to Nashville on Friday and earned a key 2-0 win over Nashville FC.  

Luke Winter scored the men's first goal in the 27th minute off a header. 

Leo De Smedt scored the second goal in the 84th minute. 

Greg Hartley earned the shutout in the goal. 

The men improve to 4-2-1 overall and will host Georgia Revolution Saturday at Finley Stadium at 7:30 p.m. 

The Chattanooga women's team hosted Alabama FC and earned a 3-0 win.  Anna Hoffman, Jaimee Cooper and Brittany Reid had goals for the women.  

The women are now 3-3 overall and will play at Georgia Revolution next Sunday.  



UTC Wrestling: Coach Eslinger Adds Two More To Class Of 2015-16

A light weight state champ from Illinois and a junior college national champ who is a UTC wrestling legacy have signed with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for the 2015-16 wrestling season. McCallie Splits Double Header At Ensworth

McCallie's Justin Glover improved to 5-0 on the season as McCallie defeated host Ensworth, 5-3, in the opener, but fell 4-2 in the nightcap in a  D-II Middle/East Region baseball doubleheader  Friday  in Nashville.   Glover scattered four hits an struck out five in five innings of work, while Corbin Brooksbank gained the save.   In the second ... Pedestrian Struck And Dragged An Estimated 4 Blocks Early Friday Morning Was Levi S. Youster, 22

Early Friday morning the Chattanooga Police Department responded to reports of a pedestrian struck near 400 Cherry Street.   Once on scene, officers found Levi S. Youster, 22,  suffering from serious injuries caused by being dragged by the vehicle an estimated four blocks.   He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to live. Investigators ... A flash flood warning has been issued for Hamilton County for Thursday afternoon. It was reported t ramp from I-24 West to Cummings Highway was closed, due to flooding.
