The Lady Trojans opened the ROCKY TOP CLASSIC with wins over Calhoun High School and Gray College Academy.
Calhoun made the long trip to Gatlinburg and ran into a buzz saw, dropping 2 straight games to Soddy Daisy, 25-13 and 25-12. Gray drove up from Columbia, South Carolina and lost their first match of the season to the Lady Trojans, 25-13 and 25-20.
Soddy Daisy is now 23-9 for the season. Soddy Daisy will play Seymour Saturday morning at 10:00, before starting
the second round of pool play.
Ooltewah went 3-0 in the opening round of the Tennessee Tandem Tournament on Friday.
