Milan Card and Michael Quatrano scored first half goals for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish boys soccer team Friday night to earn a 2-0 District 7A/AA soccer championship over visiting Chattanooga Christian School.

Card scored off a throw in in the 28th minute to put the Irish up 1-0.

Quatrano, who signed with Maryville, scored after dribbling across the middle of the field and taking a hard shot past CCS keeper Micaiah Allison.

CCS would push forward in the second half with multiple opportunities but could not find the net.

Both teams will advance to region play next week.  Notre Dame will host the District 8A/AA runner up and CCS will travel to the District 8A/AA winner.
