Grundy County Man, 67, Killed While Walking Along Highway 56

A Grundy County man was struck and killed while walking along Highway 56 in the Cumberland Heights area early Monday.

The victim was identified as 67-year-old Thomas D. Argo of Gruetli-Laager. 

He was walking in the center of the road after his vehicle apparently broke down.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
