Dalton State Wins By 22 On The Road

Dalton State had five players score in double-figures for the second game in a row in a 103-81 win over Voorhees (S.C.) at Dawson Center in Denmark, S.C. on Tuesday night.

Freshman Aaron Burress led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Isaiah Box went 5-8 from behind the arc, netting 21 points and four assists. Carnilious Simmons had another fantastic game with 19 points and six rebounds.

Raheem England (13) and Reed Dungan (12) combined for 25 points. Dalton State out-rebounded Voorhees 42-31 and shot 53% from the field compared to 42% for Voorhees.

Dalton State improves to (18-4 overall, 10-1 SSAC) with the win, while Voorhees (S.C.) drops to (11-9 overall) with the loss.

Dalton State will travel to Montgomery, Ala.
on Saturday, February 3 to face SSAC opponent Faulkner (Ala.). Tip-Off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. (CST)
