Cleveland State Holds 46th Commencement

Cleveland State Community College held its 46th commencement on Saturday in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium. This was also the first December commencement ceremony for the college. 

Dr. Carl Hite, CSCC president, was the keynote speaker. Dr. Hite is retiring after 17 years with the College making him the longest serving president in CSCC’s history.

GNTC To Host Move On When Ready New Student Orientations At All 6 Campuses

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) will hold face-to-face orientations in July for high school students participating in the Move On When Ready (MOWR) Dual Enrollment Program. Rico Says It Appears Killers Of 2 Youths At Cemetery "Were Making A Statement"

Former City Councilman Manny Rico, who discovered two dead bodies at the Highland Memorial Gardens on Tuesday morning, said it appeared their killers "were making a statement." An eyewitness to a murder told a Criminal Court jury that a man in the back seat of her boyfriend's car told another youth to shoot the boyfriend.
