Billy Joe Dodson, Jr., 49, of Spencer, Tennessee, died on May 10, 2015.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Billy is survived by his wife, Vanessa Dodson; daughter, Toshia Dodson; son, Nathaniel Dodson, all of Spencer; grandson, Caston Dodson; stepchildren, April (Jon) Blaylock, Sparta, TN; Christopher Cope, Knoxville; stepgrandchildren, Larry Blaylock, Aaliyah Blaylock; parents, Billy Joe (Laura Faye) Dodson, Sr., Anna (J.L.) Kirby, all of Spencer; siblings, Wayne Roberts, Sandy (Melvin) Mayfield, all of Spencer, JoAnn (Darryl) Hensley, Quebeck, TN, Roxie (Charles) Watson, Spencer; stepsister, Tina Asberry; stepbrothers, John Kirby, Malcolm Frazier, and the late Jason Frazier; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be on Thursday, May 14, at 1 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Wayne Sullivan and Brother Lynn Potter officiating. Burial will be in Graveyard Ridge Cemetery.
