Sinkhole In Walker County Causes Road Closure On North Marble Top Road

A sinkhole has forced the closure of a section of road in Walker County. North Marble Top Road is closed from Diamond Drive to Garrett’s Chapel Road.

There is no thru traffic past Diamond Drive southbound. Only local traffic is being allowed to travel northbound on North Marble Top past Garrett’s Chapel. 

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route for the next several days.
