Part-Time Middle School Math Teacher
Bethel Bible Village is a faith-based residential home for children of families in crisis. Located on the Bethel Bible Village campus in Hixson, TN, Bethel Christian Academy (BCA) is a non-public Christian college preparatory school, providing a smaller classroom environment.
We are currently seeking a part-time middle school math teacher to teach two math blocks approximately 3 hours/day 5 days/week for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Qualifications:
• Spiritual: Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation.
• Education: Related bachelor’s degree required.
• Specific Skills: Experience working with youth who may have academic and behavioral concerns preferred. Excellent classroom management skills required. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and previous computer experience required.
• License: Current license or preparation to obtain license in TN required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Other Requirements: Applicant must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S., and successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

HAMILTON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETS JULY 25

The Hamilton County Board of Education will meet in a Special Called Session Thursday, July 25, 2019. Items on the agenda will be: Budget, School Fees, Code of Acceptable Behavior, HCDE/HCEA Memorandum of Understanding, and the Superintendent’s contract (amendment). The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the Board Room at 3074 Hickory Valley Road.

NO MEETINGS FOR BRADLEY COUNTY BOD IN JULY

There will be no meetings for the Bradley County Board of Education during the month of July. The next voting meeting will be Thursday, August 15, 2019, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the William R. Walker board room at the Bradley County Schools Administrative Building. The contract of Dr. Linda Cash will be discussed at this meeting.

Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau (the Bureau) will receive public comments upon the application for installation of the following air contaminant source located in Hamilton County, TN.

Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, 4700 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN, has applied for installation of a limestone fines portable conveying unit hopper and two conveyors. Particulate matter emissions resulting from the installation will not exceed 0.14 pound/hour and 0.61 ton/year.
