Billy Ray Naylor, 85, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

He was born on Aug. 24, 1939, in Gardendale, Al. He graduated from Central High School, class of 1958. Over the years, he attended Highland Park Baptist Church, East 23rd Street Baptist Church, and 4th Avenue Church of God. Bill worked in the automotive parts warehousing industry from 1963 until 2010. He worked 30 years for Hart’s Automotive Parts Warehouse, a short time for AWDI, Mid State and then Ken Smith where he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Titus Sylvester and Dorothy Mae Naylor; and brother, Larry Joe Morris; brother, David Morris.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Betty (Bob) Lyons; niece, Heather (Joel) Natt; nephews, Larry (Jane) Morris, Benjamin Morris, and Zachary Morris. A special thanks to Robert (Pam) Wilkinson who took care of Billy for over 25 years.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, from 12-1:30 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel at 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville.

A service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Interment will follow the service at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
