The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer and Material Handling Inc. announce the launch of the “Lifting Families. Building Futures.” campaign in honor of MHI’s 50th anniversary.
Officials said, "From Sept. 1 through Dec. 31, MHI will donate $1,000 to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for every new lift truck sold – providing free, comprehensive and lifelong support to families navigating the challenges of pediatric cancer.
"This initiative builds on a strong partnership between the two organizations.
MHI has been a key supporter of the Foundation’s mission, helping ensure families across the nation have access to mental and behavioral health counseling, educational support, occupational therapy and essential resources—all at no cost."
“MHI has been a vital part of our ability to serve families throughout the cancer journey,” said Amy Jo Osborn, CEO of the Austin Hatcher Foundation. “Their generosity and belief in our mission directly impact children’s lives, helping them cope in the present and thrive in the future. This campaign is an incredible way to celebrate their milestone anniversary while changing lives.”
Officials said, "Founded in 1975, Material Handling Inc. is known for its commitment to durability, strength, reliability and innovation – values that align closely with the Foundation’s work to build lasting support systems for families facing pediatric cancer. The 'Lifting Families. Building Futures.' campaign reflects a shared commitment to making a long-term impact in the communities both organizations serve."
“Giving back has always been a core part of who we are at MHI,” said Patrick Sain, CEO of Material Handling Inc. “As we celebrate 50 years this November, we are honored to partner with the Austin Hatcher Foundation to support children and families during some of the toughest moments of their lives.
