Chattanooga Brainerd ribbon cutting
Chase celebrated the grand opening of its newest Chattanooga branch at 5526 Brainerd Road on Tuesday.
Officials said, "The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of Chase's third full-service bank branch in the city, solidifying its commitment to expansion across Tennessee."
Chase opened its first two Chattanooga branches at Hamilton Place (2120 Gunbarrel Road) and Northshore (306 Cherokee Blvd.) in January.
“Since bringing Chase to Chattanooga this year, the reception from the community has been phenomenal,” said Mark Cassara, market director of Chase Banking in Chattanooga.
“Over the past nine months, we've seen firsthand how our presence has positively impacted the lives of our customers, helping them achieve their financial goals and dreams. These three Chattanooga branches are just the beginning, and we are excited to keep expanding across the state.”
Officials said, "Chase's expansion in Chattanooga is part of a broader strategy to open 10 additional branches across Tennessee in the next three years, with plans for at least one more branch in the Chattanooga area by 2026. This growth aligns with the bank’s long-term plans to reach 75 percent of the national population within an accessible drive and more than 50 percent of the population within each state.
"Chase is the first and only national bank to have branches in all lower 48 states. Every day, approximately 900,000 people walk into a Chase branch to cash a check, make a deposit or speak to an expert about a financial decision that could impact their lives."
“Coming into a branch to get personal, tailored advice helps you make well-informed financial decisions,” said Sonya Platt, branch manager of Chase Brainerd. “Whether you’re opening your first checking account or planning for retirement, we understand the value of face-to-face interactions and relationships that are nurtured over time. We are thrilled to open our doors in Chattanooga again and help support our customers every step of the way.”0
Officials said, "JPMorganChase has had commercial banking offices in Chattanooga since 2012. Chase opened its first Tennessee branch five years ago in Nashville. Since its initial presence in Tennessee in 2011, JPMorganChase has grown to nearly 500 employees across the state, with offices and branches in Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga.
"To celebrate the opening of Chase Brainerd, the bank partnered with Vincit Group to support its Summer Food Drive campaign with a $5,000 investment in the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. The food drive helped generate 47,000 meals for families in and around Chattanooga. This complements the bank’s $10,000 investment in Feeding the Future in January."
“One of six kids across Tennessee doesn’t know where their next meal is coming from. Hunger in our community is something we need to continue to fight,” said Brandon Abney, executive director of Commercial Banking at JPMorganChase. “Our growing branch presence brings the full breadth of JPMorganChase’s resources to Chattanooga – including our commitment to the underserved residents that make up our city.”
Officials said, "Chase’s Chattanooga branches offer a modern design and state-of-the-art banking technology, emphasizing a consultative approach to personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing.
"Self-service transaction areas are available, including an indoor ATM, outdoor 24-hour ATM and night depository. The branch also features Chase teller services and free Wi-Fi."
Chase Brainerd is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays.
