Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, 4131 Ringgold Road in East Ridge, announces their 47th Annual BBQ to be held Saturday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
"The whole congregation will be involved this year," organizers said. "All ages of the church gather on this day, working to support our mission to the community. All donations and tickets sales will go to benefit children and missions in our East Ridge community."
The “special” barbecue sauce recipe was developed many years ago by a church member, Tom Martin, who started the barbecue, and it is dedicated in his memory.
The women of the church will have a Bake Sale and the youth will be selling and delivering BBQ to local businesses in East Ridge on Saturday morning.
