Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy announces they are a 2024-2025 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus.
Officials said, "The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club. This year 5,930 Beta Clubs across the country received this award."
In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO, said “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders.”
“CGLA’s Beta Club is honored to receive the National School of Merit Award.
This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to empowering young women with the academic excellence, leadership skills, and service-minded values that are at the heart of our school’s mission,” said Sam Leonard, Beta sponsor and sixth grade math teacher. “We are proud of our Betas for exemplifying these qualities every day.”
“When bright minds and bold hearts come together, greatness is inevitable – and today, we shine,” said Fallon Price, Beta sponsor and JAG TN teacher. “Our sisterhood of scholars at CGLA has turned dedication into distinction – and this honor from the National Beta Club is just the beginning. Go Mustangs.”
