25-008928 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road - Check-the Well-being
The alleged girlfriend of a man requested police check on him after she made multiple calls to the hotel trying to check on his status. Police located the man in his room in an inebriated state. He was fine and did not have any intention of harming himself or others.
25-008188- Hamilton County Jail- Warrant
A man was served an arrest warrant through East Ridge at the Hamilton County Jail for Domestic Assault.
25-008905- Welcome Center- Disorder
Police responded to a reported disorder involving three people.
The incident was determined to be verbal only. One was found to have an active warrant out of Catoosa County and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for extradition.
25-008907- 6900 BLK Martha Ave- Suspicious person
Citizens reported a man acting erratically, described as wearing ripped shorts and no shirt. Police identified the individual, who stated he was dehydrated. He was provided with courtesy transport for medical care.
25-008908- 3300 BLK Ringgold Road- Property
Police were dispatched to a heavy-set male with a beard who had entered the waste flow of the washing machines. The property owner stated this is the 2nd time this has happened. No damage was done to the machines and no money was stolen.
25-008909 - 4214 Ringgold Road - Warrant Service
A man was served with a Forfeiture Capias for Theft of Property while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-008914 - 4214 Ringgold Road - Theft
The caller reported her aqua green Hyper Bicycles Commute beach-comber-styled bicycle was stolen from the front of her residence. There is no suspect description.
25-008920, 25-008934 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Ave – Civil
ERPD was dispatched several times to the above address for a disorder. Upon arrival ERPD spoke with resident she stated she is upset with her tenant. She stated that all the tenant does is lie and cause issues. The tenant also stated the same about the landlord. ERPD advised both parties they need to separate and quit communicating with each other since they cannot get along. ERPD
also advised, if she does not like the woman staying at the residence, she can start the eviction process, and any damages that may have been caused she will have to sue her civil court. The disorder was only verbal. The landlord did not have eviction court go her way today so she is very upset causing the tenant to be worried it might escalate to something physical. This is an
ongoing, persistent issue.
25-008923 – 1300 BLK San Hsi Drive - Unknown 9-1-1
Police checked the area after dispatch reported receiving a 9-1-1 call in the area. Nothing was located.
25-008931- 184 INTERSTATE 24 EB- Mutual Aid
Police were dispatched to assist Chattanooga Police units with a motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries. Police stood by until CPD units arrived.
25-008935 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd– Domestic Assault
Police responded to a domestic assault at this location. Warrants will be taken out for the suspect.
Night Shift August 21: D Squad
25-008938 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder
Police responded to a disorder between two individuals in the parking lot of the apartments. Officers determined there was a verbal argument between a tenant and a visitor over cigarette smoke. The visitor agreed to leave the area to resolve the issue.
25-008939 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Avenue – Theft
The tenant reported that her landlord had stolen $150 worth of food from her. She could not provide a receipt or proof that she had the food in the residence. Police spoke with the landlord who stated she put all the food next to her bedroom door and denied stealing anything from her. No charges were filed for the incident.
25-008940 – 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Drive - Suspicious Person
A resident reported that a door-to-door solicitor appeared suspicious after he refused to provide identification. Police located the solicitor and identified him as a representative for a window company. The officer spoke with his supervisor who stated he applied for a permit to solicit in East Ridge per municipal code 9-203 (Permit Required).
25-008945 – 800 BLK Donaldson Road - Harassing Threats
A man threatened his girlfriend over the phone. The subject has an active warrant for Domestic Assault against the victim from a prior incident earlier in the day. Police provided an incident report so she could seek an Order of Protection. ERPD checked the area throughout the evening but did not locate the suspect.
25-008948 / 25-008950 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Avenue – Disorders
The tenant reported that her landlord beat on her door and poured cleaning solution in front of it to harass her. Police attempted to speak with the homeowner, but she was not located and did not answer her phone. Police returned to the residence a few hours later for a similar disorder. The tenant stated that her landlord was beating on her door for no apparent reason. She also told Police that she was looking for another room to rent. At that time, Police were still unable to locate the landlord. Police eventually spoke with her when she stopped by the East Ridge Police Department to discuss the on-going issues. She stated she poured cleaning solution on dog urine that she
found in front of the bedroom door and denied harassing her tenant. She also stated that she attempted to obtain an eviction order through the Hamilton County Court, but it was denied.
25-008149 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a party was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The charge on arrest warrant was Domestic Assault. A copy of the Conditions of Release were provided to the victim in the case.
