Traffic Stop Leads To DUI, Drug Charges - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

In the 9400 block of Apison Pike, a traffic stop led to the arrest of a driver for DUI and possession of Schedule VI narcotics. The individual was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

A subject with an active Collegedale warrant was transported from Bradley County Jail to Hamilton County Jail.

In the 9300 block of Ocoee Street, officers were dispatched to a crash with no reported injuries. It was determined that the incident occurred in the county.

At Tallant and Edgmon Roads, officers assisted a citizen who reported his missing cat signs had been removed. He was provided Code Enforcement’s contact information.

In the 10100 block of Apison Pike, a citizen reported sparking wires down. Officers and TriComm searched the area, but no downed wires were found.

In the 5000 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road, officers responded to a crash between a Nissan Rogue and a Dodge Ram.

In the 5700 block of Edgmon Road, a deer reportedly struck by a vehicle was said to have crawled into a nearby yard with possible broken legs. The area was searched so the animal could be dispatched, but it was not located.

Officers confirmed that a subject in custody at Hamilton County Jail had an active Collegedale warrant. The individual is being held without bond and has a court date scheduled.

During the night shift, officers responded to a residential alarm in the 8600 block of Don Ray Way. No signs of forced entry were found, and no audible alarm was sounding.

In the 4300 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road, a gravel truck broke down in the northbound lane. Officers directed traffic until a wrecker arrived to remove the truck.

In the 4300 block of Katie Kim Lane, officers were dispatched to a reported disorder. The involved party had already left the scene and requested a phone call. After speaking with them, no illegal activity was found.

In the 4500 block of Forsythia Way, officers checked on a vehicle parked in a back lot with hazard lights on. The driver reported mechanical issues, and the property manager allowed the vehicle to remain overnight.
