Robert Joel “Joe” Lusk
Robert Joel “Joe” Lusk, 86, went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2025. Joe was born in Whitwell, Tn., on May 13, 1939, and lived in the Chattanooga area for most of his life.
Joe was a proud U.S. Army veteran and attended Mountain Creek Church of Christ. He was an avid Braves fan and loved UTC MOCS football and basketball. He was a great cook and among some of his specialties were zucchini bread, pecan pie, banana pudding, and potato salad, just to name a few.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Katherine Lusk and his three siblings, Nancy Hamblen, Howard Lusk, and Martha Wash.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 60 years, Aundrey Lusk; son, Kevin Lusk; granddaughter, Aleah Lusk, who he loved dearly!!; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 24, from 4-7 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral will be in the funeral home chapel on Monday, Aug. 25, at 1 p.m. with Gary Massey and Ken Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
