David Blanton Osborne

David Blanton Osborne, 65, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away at his home on August 7, 2025.

He was born in Chattanooga on March 11, 1960, to Jack Edwards Osborne and Barbara Hyde Osborne. His parents and brother, Jack Edwards Osborne, Jr., preceded him in death.

David is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Osborne; son, Andrew (Elizabeth) Osborne of Chatsworth, GA; stepson, Joey (Donna) Lawson of Cleveland; former stepdaughter, Kristi (Chuck) Garwood of Gloucester, VA; sister, Jennifer (Ken) Flynn of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Cindy Boone of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Melissa (Dwight) Shelton of Mt. Airy, NC; friend Ricky Morrow, several grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Gabriel.

David was a devout Christian and loved playing his guitar and singing in church with his wife and sisters-in-law. In addition to being a talented musician, he was a gifted carpenter and woodworker. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1983 to 1987. His family and friends will miss him tremendously, but he will live on in their hearts.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Wayland Stewart officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the U. S. Navy.
